Blackberry 9105 Pink
[9105P]

R3,299.99

You can now purchase Accessories for your new phone. See at the bottom of your cellphone description.

All Cellphones purchased from CaCell are brand new and are covered by our 1 Year Warranty unless otherwise stated.

The Pearl 9105 is a slim candybar handset, with a 2.2-inch display, that packs in a sharp 360 x 400 pixel resolution. The handset sports a curved profile, with a flush keyboard on the front, menu controls, an optical trackpad, as well as shortcut buttons on the side for quick access to voice controls and camera functions.

RIM is bucking the trend with the 9105, its their first phone with a traditional Alphanumeric keypad. The four lines of keys are laid into a slight wave. This gives space for the trackpad, and also follows the design of the previous RIM handsets. The SureType system and packs a massive dictionary that you would rarely find yourself having to enter a new word. The alphanumeric keypad enables the Pearl 3G to ram all the usual BlackBerry goodness into a much smaller case.

It has every wireless waveform you could ask for, including the latest 802.11n Wi-Fi standard, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth and GPS for use with Google Maps and location-aware apps. The handset takes full advantage of all that connectivity, with a do-it-all inbox that supports up to ten email accounts, Facebook updates and your tweets.

The 3.2-megapixel camera is twinned with an LED photo light, and can capture moments quickly with accurate color tones. It can also record videos at 640 x 480 resolution at 24fps. The dedicated music buttons on the top lets you pause/play, stop, skip tracks in a jiffy, and the standard 3.5mm headphone jack means you can use your favourite headphones.

As with all RIM handsets, the 9105 offers excellent Push email service. Your account is good-to-go in seconds and the service works even in areas with bad reception and low latency. The handset comes with 256MB of internal memory will accept cards up to 32GB.

The Pearl 9105 runs version v5 of the Blackberry OS, and sports few upgradation like quicker access to connection settings from the home page. This lets you make quick changes to the settings, without diving into the menus. The phone has an built-in GPS receiver with BlackBerry Maps installed as standard, but you can always download Google Maps as it is generally cited as a better alternative.
